With the support of JSC Embamunaigas, the country’s first training and production facility for future oil workers was opened at S. Utebayev Atyrau University of Oil and Gas.
The facility provides students and future specialists with practical experience in an environment reflecting real oil industry operations, strengthening professional training and preparing the next generation of oil workers.
As part of the “Intelligent Oil Field” project, tactical response centers began operating at production fields, supporting more efficient monitoring and operational response.
In 2002, “Kazakhoil-Emba” was renamed “Embamunaygas”, restoring the company’s established identity.
During the industrialization of the 1930s, the Embaneft Trust fully transitioned to oil extraction using borehole pumps. During the same period, natural associated gas began to be used for heating boilers and domestic needs.
