The Geological Service of JSC Embamunaigas conducts analytical work as part of regional geological surveys.
The analysis of collected geological materials and laboratory research results indicates the need for further study of the post-salt complex along the southern and eastern margins of the Caspian Depression.
The central part of the Caspian region also demonstrates potential for the discovery of small oil and gas fields.
As a result of geological studies, a number of promising pre-salt targets have been identified and recommended for further exploration and drilling.
These areas are subject to additional geological assessment to determine their potential and support decisions on subsequent exploration activities.
Exploration activities conducted by the Company in recent years have demonstrated a high success rate in both the further exploration of existing fields and the prospecting of new areas.
The results of this work contribute to the identification of additional hydrocarbon potential and support the Company’s long-term objective of replenishing and increasing its resource base.
